Very grateful to the volunteers and sponsors that made yesterday happen. We found out two weeks ago we could install a 5 hour mobile garden onto the Art on Track festival - 6 train cars taken over for 5 hours circling around the downtown Chicago Loop by 50 artists.

    After gathering donations of materials and plants from Central Sod Farms, Harvest Moon Farm, Green Roof Growers, Tu Bloom, Prompt Graphics, and the Morton Arboretum we got to the train yard around 8 a.m. yesterday and started loading in and setting up.

    ‘Doors closing’. At 4 p.m. we headed to the Loop and at 5 p.m., ‘Doors opening’ to a eager cheering crowd.
